About the artist

Finding inspiration close to home.

I have always enjoyed art and have dabbled in it now and then while working and raising our family. It wasn’t until ‘stay at home’ orders of the pandemic happened, that I totally emerged myself in learning to paint through online classes and YouTube.

Growing up on a farm, we were surrounded by large, beautiful trees and a gentle river that ran through our property. Wildlife, farm animals and wide-open skies all around us. Country girl at heart, I will always hold dear the memories of growing up there.

I find inspiration close to home in Manitoba skies, familiar paths, quiet creeks, and the animals I notice along the way.

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, I paint in acrylic, pastel and watercolour. I enjoy bringing these places and small moments to life through colour.
